Bulan lalu, SM Entertainment mengungkapkan bahwa mereka akan menunda tanggal rilis perdananya film dokumenter mereka, 'I AM', untuk meningkatkan kualitas film.
Pada pagi hari tanggal 8 Juni distributor film CJ E&M menegaskan bahwa 'I AM' akhirnya telah dijadwalkan tayang di bioskop Korea pada tanggal 21 Juni!
Awalnya dijadwalkan untuk tanggal 10 Mei, film ini telah tertunda karena produsen berharap untuk meningkatkan suara latar belakang dan musik untuk rekaman film dari konse dan intrview New York mereka.
'I AM' dirilis dibioskop di seluruh Asia menjelang rilisnya di Korea, dimulai dengan Indonesia pada tanggal 18 Mei, Taiwan pada tanggal 25, Singapura pada tanggal 31, dan Jepang pada tanggal 2 dan 3. Last month, SM Entertainment revealed that they would be delaying the premiere release date of their documentary film, ‘I AM‘, to improve the quality of the film.
On the morning of June 8th, film distributor CJ E&M confirmed that ‘I AM’ has finally been slated to hit Korean theaters on June 21st!
Originally scheduled for May 10th, the film had been delayed because producers hoped to enhance background sounds and music to the film’s footage of the stars’ New York concert and interviews.
‘I AM’ was released to theaters all over Asia ahead of its Korean release, starting with Indonesia on May 18th, Taiwan on the 25th, Singapore on the 31st, and Japan on June 2nd and 3rd. In Japan, the film was the highest grossing movie for the weekend of its release.
Hopefully the film is able to continue its streak of success in its home country.
