Aktor Korea Jang Hyuk memenangkan hadiah tertinggi di 2010 KBS Drama Awards, yang diadakan di KBS Terbuka Hall pada tanggal 31 Desember.

Jang menerima hadiah utama tahun ini untuk perannya sebagai Dae-gil di seri sejarah "The Hunters Slave," sehingga penghargaan pertamanya di upacara akhir tahun.

Dia melanjutkan dengan mengatakan, "Ini sudah 15 tahun sejak saya mulai bertindak dan saya ingin mengucapkan terima kasih kepada semua orang di kantor saya dan putar kehormatan untuk orang tua saya, istri dan anak saya."

"The Hunters Slave" juga mencetak kemenangan dalam lima kategori termasuk Kim-soo Gap dan Oh hadiah pertama dan kedua Ji-ho untuk aktor terbaik, masing-masing, Dong-il Sung untuk aktor pendukung terbaik dan Jang Hyuk dan Lee Da-hae untuk pasangan terbaik.

Terhormat lainnya yang disebutkan malam itu adalah "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" yang membawa pulang lima penghargaan dan rating tertinggi "Bread, Love and Dreams" yang mengumpulkan enam penghargaan.

Korean actor Jang Hyuk won the top prize at the 2010 KBS Drama Awards, held at the KBS Open Hall on December 31.

Jang received the grand prize of the year for his role as Dae-gil in the historical series “The Slave Hunters,” making it his first award at a year-end ceremony.

“My heart is beating really fast right now and I want to thank director Gwak Jeong-hwan, scenarist Chun Sung-il and my co-stars Sung Dong-il, Lee Da-hae and Oh Ji-ho,” said Jang in his acceptance speech.

He went on to say, “It’s already been 15 years since I started acting and I want to thank everyone at my agency and turn the honor to my parents, my wife and son.”

“The Slave Hunters” also scored wins in five categories including Kim Gap-soo and Oh Ji-ho first and second prizes for best actor, respectively, Sung Dong-il for best supporting actor and Jang Hyuk and Lee Da-hae for best couple.

Other honorable mentions that night were “SungKyunKwan Scandal” which took home five awards and this year’s highest viewership ratings-scorer “Bread, Love and Dreams,” which collected six awards.
